PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rod-like molded article such as a chopstick in which the jetting does not become a product defect, capable of manufacturing two-color rod-like molded article excellent in product strength. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of rod-like molded article comprises: a process of preliminarily molding a preliminary molded body composed of a part (A) having a predetermined thickness in the longitudinal direction and a part (B) having a thickness determined by subtracting a cross-section from the predetermined thickness; and a process of post-molding the part (B) of the obtained preliminary molded body so as to become a prescribed thickness.
