PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a printing recording medium is required preliminarily in order to detect a shift amount of a feed amount, and a problem wherein a user requires preliminarily a working time for operating a liquid injection device, for the purpose of detecting and correcting the shift amount of the feed amount. SOLUTION: This liquid injection device is provided with the first nozzle for injecting the first liquid droplet, the second nozzle for injecting the transparent second liquid droplet for forming a latent image on a paper sheet S as the recording medium, a moving part for conducting relative moving between the paper sheet S and the first nozzle, an image formation control part for injecting the first liquid droplet onto the paper sheet S, under the relative moving, to form an image pattern, a latent image formation control part for injecting the second liquid droplet onto the paper sheet S to be overlapped with the image pattern, so as to form a latent image pattern, and a position detection part for recognizing the latent image pattern as a reference position on the paper sheet S and for detecting a relative position between the paper sheet S and the first nozzle, and the image formation control part controls the relative moving, based on the relative position detected by the position detection part.
