PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furniture fall preventing gear capable of securely retaining the furniture along a wall while not damaging its side faces or its top face. SOLUTION: The furniture fall preventing gear 1 includes a rail 2 fixed to the wall W and furniture retaining members 3 mounted slidably along the rail 2 and fixably to it in any position. The member 3 is provided with a flat contact part brought into contact with a side face or the top face of the furniture F, wherein an adhesive sheet 34 is applied to the contact part.
