<p>A control unit of a server stores card information, read from an option card at the last startup of an OS, to a storage unit in association with a slot number for specifying a slot connected to the option card, and manages the associated information as card management information. When the OS is again started up, the control unit of the server reads card information of an option card connected to a slot. When reading the card information is finished, the control unit of the server reads card management information corresponding to the slot number associated with the option card and performs a card determination as to whether the connected card is an exchanged card (exchange card).</p> |
