<p>The dishwasher has a tub (1) for receiving items to be rinsed such as cutlery. A heat pump comprises a condenser (8) and an evaporator (10a), which are arranged such that heat is withdrawn or supplied to the process water in the tub. The evaporator is arranged at a side wall (15) of the tub. The condenser is arranged at a base (12) of the tub. The evaporator is thermally connected with an outlet region (16). Two expansion valves (9a, 9b) are provided for the evaporator. Another evaporator (10b) is enclosed of drain pipe (17) that is formed as a plastic blow molded part. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a dishwasher.</p> |
