METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING ACK/NACK SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for transmitting an ACK/NACK signal is provided to transmit the ACK/NACK signal for multiple users or a plurality of ACK/NACK signals through one ACK/NACK channel. An ACK/NACK signal is transmitted through an ACK/NACK channel including at least one tile comprised of a plurality of subcarriers in a frequency domain and a plurality of OFDM symbols in a time domain in a wireless communication system. The tile includes a plurality of data subcarriers and a plurality of pilot subcarriers. The data symbol is allocated to the plurality of data subcarriers. A pilot symbol is allocated to the pilot subcarrier. A first code word is generated by applying a first diffusion code to the data symbol and the pilot symbol. A second code word is generated by allocating the data symbol applied with the second diffusion code to the plurality of data subcarriers. The first and second code words are transmitted.
