COGENERATION SYSTEM USING DUAL FUEL AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A cogeneration system using dual fuel and a driving method thereof are provided to improve driving efficiency of an engine by adjusting mixture of light oil and bio gas fed according to load of an engine. A cogeneration system using dual fuel and driving method thereof comprises a fuel control part(23) controlling the output and RPM of a diesel engine(20) equipped with a turbo-charger; a generator(200) connected to the diesel engine; a bio gas supply unit(30) equipped with a bio gas supply tube(31) in which a flow rate control valve(32) is installed; and a fuel control unit(40) controlling supply amount and the supply amount of bio gas. The bio gas supply unit is connected to a turbo charger. The flow rate of bio gas is controlled by receiving bio gas mixed with air fed to the diesel engine through the turbo charger. The flow rate control valve is controlled according to the increase and decrease of set-up RPM by detecting load exerted to the engine and RPM of an engine.
