Disclosed is an optical glass which has a medium refractive index/a low dispersibility, a low deformation point (Ts), a low liquid phase temperature (L.T.) and excellent weather resistance and is suitable for mold-press molding. The optical glass comprises the following components (mass% in terms of oxide): SiO2: 20-40%, B2O3: 10-30%, SrO: 10-30, Al2O3: 5.5-15%, La2O3: 0.5-11, Li2O: 3-12%, CaO: 0-10, BaO: 0-9.5% and ZnO: 0-10%.
