An overvoltage blocking portion is provided for blocking application of the overvoltage to a power supply portion, in a case where an overvoltage is applied to an upper arm control circuit or a lower arm control circuit from a corresponding one of an upper arm switching element group and a lower arm switching element group, application of the overvoltage to a power supply portion of the remaining control circuit is blocked. The overvoltage blocking portion is configured to separate the respective switching power supply portions. Therefore, solved is a problem that, in a case where one of the switching elements in the switching element groups is broken, chained breaking occurs and a DC voltage falls into a short circuit mode that cannot be shut off by a control circuit.
