An uncompressed HD(High Definition) media data transmitting apparatus, a control method thereof and a recording medium having a program are provided to transmit a plurality of uncompressed HD media signals through one system at the same time. A media unit(100) inputs/outputs a media signal, including a video signal and an audio signal, in a matched state. A management unit(200) operates the medial unit in a normal operational state and secures media matching information. If the control information of a network matching unit(300) is valid, the management unit performs the tuning. The network matching unit is connected to the management unit and transmits/receives the media signal through a network(400).
