<p>The panel has a particle board (2) with a real wood veneer (4), and an overlay (6) applied on the veneer and containing fiber and resin portions. The overlay is supported on a side (10) facing the veneer, while the overlay is printed in sections or provided with a printed paper. The overlay is provided with a mordant and is formed optically by introducing particles, pigments and/or dyes in the resin portion of the overlay. A pattern i.e. pore pattern, is imprinted in the overlay, and an UV-absorbing substance i.e. nano-scalar particle, is introduced into the resin portion of the overlay. The particle board is designed as a wood-based board such as a chip board, an oriented strand board (OSB), a high or medium density fiber board, a wood-plastic composite board, a plywood board, or a solid wood board. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing an overlay (2) a method for constructing a surface of a real wood veneered particle board.</p> |
