The method allows user profile data to become an inseparable part of the mobile devices' wireless interface address, so that when two or more mobile devices detect one another their user profile data are transmitted automatically upon their users' selective input. The users may then set up a real time interest based communication over a short or wide area network when within proximity of one another, set up a connection over a wide area network at increased distances using stored profile data, or be alerted to detection of nearby users on the basis of their stored profile data. The invention may be used in social networking, commercial transactions, detection of living beings and objects and other applications. |
