The device has a pipe-electric filter, and a spraying electrode (1) arranged in an electrically conducting tube-shaped casing (3) that acts as a counter electrode. The tube-shaped housing forms a partial section of the counter electrode, where the partial section is formed from an outlet channel (4) of an exhaust gas as part of a separation section (7). The outlet channel is connected behind the spraying electrode and the casing and consists of a mineral substance e.g. glass ceramic, where the spraying electrode is arranged far away from an oven.
