<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording method where ink absorptivity, glossiness and image clarity are improved, and further, the generation of bronzing in an ink receptivity layer after recording using pigment ink is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid comprising a PVA latex whose glass transition temperature is <10°C obtained by polymerizing monomers in the presence of a water soluble polymer comprising polyvinyl alcohol and pigment ink comprising pigment are discharged to an ink-jet recording medium having an ink receptivity layer comprising gas phase method silica and a water soluble binder, and an image is recorded in the ink receptivity layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
