Device and method for cleaning medical devices, in particular endoscopes

The method involves connecting a medical device to a cleaning device, and connecting a pressure line with a cleaning fluidity source and a lower drive side end with a down pipe over a drive side end. Cleaning fluid is conducted by a lumen. A set of volumes of compressed gas i.e. filtered and cleaned air, is supplied in the pressure line, which carries the cleaning fluid accelerated by the lumen. The cleaning fluidity is supplied with a pressure in the lumen, and the pressure gas is supplied with another pressure that is higher than the former pressure. An independent claim is also included for a device for cleaning an inner side of a medical device with a lumen, comprising a drive side connection.
