摘要 A hull reinforcing structure for an FRP vessel is provided to prevent damage to a hull of the FRP vessel by increasing the hull rigidity of the FRP(Fiber Glass Reinforced Plastic) vessel and delay flooding through the damaged site. A hull reinforcing structure for an FRP vessel comprises a hull(10) of FRP material, a plastic housing having a block shape, and super absorbent resin. A vertical reinforcing member(14) and a horizontal reinforcing member(16) are alternately arranged along the inner surface of the hull. The plastic housing is closely fixed to a part or the whole of the hull inner surface and is positioned within a lattice formed by the vertical reinforcing member and the horizontal reinforcing member. The housing is filled with the super absorbent resin. The plastic housing is made of engineering plastic material and is broken with the hull together due to the same impact with hull rupture strength or bigger impact than the hull rupture strength.
