AQUEOUS DISPERSIONS OF ORGANOSILICON COMPOUNDS

An aqueous dispersion of organosilicon compounds is provided to be suitable for a preserver for hydrophobicity of various inorganic or organic substrates and to improve stability and efficiency. An aqueous dispersion of organosilicon compounds comprises (A) at least one organosilicon compound; (B) at least one nonionic emulsifier which has HLB value of 12 or greater as a mixture with a non-ionic emulsifier with selectively HLB value of no greater than 12; (C) at least one cationic surfactant; (D) water; and optionally (E) additional component. At least one organosilicon compound(A) is selected from (A1) silane of chemical formula 1: R_aR^2_bSi(OR^1)_(4-a-b) and/or its partially hydrolyzed product and (A2) siloxane containing a unit of chemical formula 2: R^3_c(R^4O)_dSiO_((4-c-d)/2). At least one cationic surfactant is selected from (C1) a compound of chemical formula 3: R^9_eR^6_(4-e)N^+X^- and (C2) a compound of chemical formula 4.
