A device, a system, and a method for obtaining image information in a body cavity are provided to grasp a position of the image information by obtaining an orientation angle of the image information in the body cavity. A lighting unit illuminates the inside of a body. An image information obtaining unit(22) obtains the image information of the part illuminated by the lighting unit. A gradient information obtaining unit obtains the gradient of the orientation angle of the image information. The gradient information obtaining unit includes an electrode support metal ring, an inner electrode plate, and a liquid dielectric. The electrode support metal ring has the cylindrical shape. The inner electrode plate is vertically fixed in a longitudinal direction of the electrode support metal ring. The liquid dielectric is filled in the space between the inner electrode plates sealed by the electrode support metal ring. Information transfer units(28a,28b) transmit the obtained information to the outside of a living body. The controller controls the operation of each unit.
