Thermal trip device for electrical line-protection device

The device has a lock mechanism opening and closing a fixed contact (8) and mobile contact. A thermal sub-unit with a switch (1) and a magnetic sub-unit with coil (7) swing the mechanism to open the contact during abnormal raise of current. Convector (5) is crossed by the current sent on the line. The switch and the convector are placed in a case such that the switch is in a heat flow from the convector. The convector is formed of conductor in conductive sheet cut and folded along geometry to increase length of the conductor in a space. The conductor is placed against and close to the switch.
