A laundry treating device is provided to reduce the after-sales service time by detecting unites breaking down by checking an operation error code when an error breaks out. A laundry treating device comprises: an error storing unit(60) storing an operation error code corresponding to the generated error during operating. The laundry treating device detects the operation error code stored in the error storing unit in the check step performance and compares the detected operation error code and the check result obtained from a check step. The laundry treating device includes the check step confirming whether a part of units accurately operates or not. The laundry treating device or repairman compares the check result and the operation error code stored in the error storing unit after the check step. |
