A mobile communication terminal and a camera photographing method of the mobile terminal using a conversion lens are provided to enable a user to freely select a photographing mode according to his/her taste or when necessary by performing the shooting for special effects through the conversion lens which is mounted in a camera assembly. A camera assembly(120) is installed at one side of a terminal body(110). A conversion lens(130) is adhered to the front side of the camera assembly. A locking groove(121) is formed in the front of the camera assembly so that the conversion lens can be attached to the camera assembly. The conversion lens comprises a locking hook(131) corresponding to the locking groove.
