Railway vehicle and method for coupling of bogies of a railway vehicle

The vehicle has hydraulic units positioned in two pivot mountings (12). The pivot mountings are hydraulically coupled in a manner such that one of the pivot mountings rotates in opposite direction to the other pivot mounting during rotation of the latter pivot mounting relative to vehicle frames. The hydraulic units comprise adjusting cylinders (20) that are attached the pivot mountings. A hydraulic pre-loading of the hydraulic units is achieved by a memory unit (40). The hydraulic units exhibit a pressure limiting valve (50) for overload protection. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for coupling pivot mountings of a rail vehicle.
