<p>An optical waveguide for a touch panel and the touch panel using the same are provided to make leading ends of a core for emitting light and a core for receiving light to automatically face each other with a display screen between the leading ends by engaging a concave shaped part and a convex shaped part. A convex shaped part(5) is formed in an edge of one end of a length direction of an optical waveguide for a belt shaped touch panel. A concave shaped part(6) engaged with the convex shaped part is formed in the other edge of the length direction. A leading end(3a) of a core for emitting light and a leading end(3b) of a core for receiving light face each other with a display screen of a touch panel between the leading ends by the engagement of the concave shaped part and the convex shaped part.</p> |
