A semiconductor, and a semiconductor laser driving device and an image forming device using the same are provided to control bias current and switching current with changing external connection of the semiconductor by including an external terminal for respectively using a bias current generation circuit, a storage circuit, and a reference voltage generation circuit. A switching current generating circuit(10) includes a switching current setting terminal(RSW) for setting up a current value of the switching current. The switching current generating circuit generate and outputs switching current to make voltage inputted to the switching current setting terminal equal to the voltage inputted to a switching current control terminal(VSW). A bias current generating circuit(20) includes a bias current setting terminal(RBI). The bias current generating circuit generates and outputs the bias current to make the voltage inputted to the bias current setting terminal equal to a bias current control terminal(VBI).
