<p>A terminal and a method of scanning a channel of the terminal are provided to display a channel list to which a channel scan result is reflected in real time during channel scan, thereby quickly providing the channel scan result to a user. A wireless communication unit(110) receives channel information. The wireless communication unit scans at least one channel. A controller(180) generates a channel-related database by using the received channel information. The controller generates a channel list to which a channel scan result is reflected in real time by using the channel-related database. An output unit displays the channel list according to a control signal of the controller. The channel information includes at least one of channel ID information and allocation frequencies.</p> |
