A catalytic composition for producing 1-alkene-acrylate copolymer is provided to prepare a 1-alkene-acrylate copolymer which has no crystalline due to high content of a polar comonomer and is used as optical materials. A catalytic composition for producing 1-alkene-acrylate copolymer comprises a metal nano catalyst represented by formula 1: M/N_xO_y. In chemical formula 1, M is selected from the group consisting of transition metal of group 3-12; N is selected from the group consisting of the group 3-14; O is an oxygen atom; and x and y are determined by the oxidation state of N.
