A method for manufacturing a cation exchange polymer electrolyte membrane for a fuel cell is provided to prepare an electrolyte membrane for high temperature operation with high hydrogen ion conductivity and thermal stability. A method for manufacturing a cation exchange polymer electrolyte membrane for a fuel cell, having excellent thermal stability, comprises (a) a step for irradiating the light to a porous base film; (b) a step for graft-polymerizing the irradiated porous base material with a polymerizable monomer; (c) a step for manufacturing a basic polymer by introducing an amine group to the grafted base film; (d) a step for forming an H-ion conducting medium by introducing a sulfonic acid group to the basic polymer; and (e) a step for doping it with a phosphoric acid. |
