A medical treatment suction catheter is provided, which makes the washing and disinfection facilitated and enables to replace the used suction pipe as new one. A medical treatment suction catheter comprises: an optical waveguide(20) which is extended long to make the light inputted through the backend incident part(22) irradiated to the front through the irradiation portion(21); a suction pipe(10) in which the suction hose is connected to the backend connection part, the leading end suction part is formed long to be near to the surgical operation region, and is integrally combined with the optical waveguide; and a combining member for connecting separably the suction pipe to the optical waveguide.
