A wood powder composition for molding is provided to reduce the danger of environmental contamination and to form fine patterns by recycling wastes such as middle-density wood flour without unnecessary high temperature processes. A wood powder composition for molding comprises wood flour 100.0 parts by weight, starch flour 10-100.0 parts by weight, oil 1-50 parts by weight, organic solvent 1-50 parts by weight and binder 1-50 parts by weight. The wood flour is the wood flour of a middle-density fiber board. The starch flour is medium flour. The oil is cooking oil or disposable edible oil. The wood flour further comprises stone powder 1-100.0 parts by weight and/or germanium, jade and yellow soil 0.01-10 parts by weight.
