摘要 <p>A laser surface treating device using beam section transformation and a polygon mirror and a surface treating method thereof are provided to maximize the effectiveness of the laser beam by transforming the shape of the laser beam into an oval shape and minimizing the loss factor of the laser beam. A laser surface treating device using beam section transformation and a polygon mirror comprises: a transfer device(10) transferring an object(100); a laser generator(20) producing first laser beam(21); a first beam shaping device(30) consisting of a concave mirror or a convex lens to produce second laser beam(22) by transforming the cross section of the first laser beam; a second beam shaping device(40) having the different radius with the radius of the first beam shaping device and consisting of consisting of a concave mirror or a convex lens to produce third laser beam by transforming the cross section of the second laser beam; a polygon mirror(50) which the third laser beam is incident on; a light focusing mirror(60) irradiating the fourth laser beam(24) creating spot on the object; a beam dumper(80) controlling the scan width between the light collection mirror and the polygon mirror; and a controller controlling the feeding speed of the object, the rotary speed of the polygon mirror and the output of the laser generator.</p>
