A filter for mask and a mask are provided, which secure the ventilation of air and maintain the substantial filter area. A filter for mask comprises: a fiber type filter which is formed in a type of an envelope that the edge is sealed in the state that the part in contact with the outside air is overlapped to face the outside; a connection unit connecting the wearing tool of the mask; and an insertion unit which is established in the space between the overlapped fiber type filter in order to form the air stream channel for the connection unit. The insertion unit is made of the composition resin frame. The frame is equipped with a plurality of fins(12) spread toward the connection unit from the outer side.
