An apparatus and a method for controlling contactless charging in a mobile terminal are provided to perform contactless charging efficiently by using a loop antenna for an RF communication or a mobile phone payment service as a secondary coil. An induced current in induced on a secondary coil(101), and an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board)(102) is connected to the secondary coil to operate as a coil during contactless charging. A coil connector(103) controls the connection between the FPCB and the secondary coil. The coil connector includes: groove units that are formed at a battery(190) and a body respectively; and a sliding member that connects the secondary coil to the FPCB electrically.
