A control system of a permanent magnet synchronous motor and a method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of the permanent magnet by considering the variation of magnetic field by a temperature control in torque control. A torque estimator(300) produces a torque estimation value based on a q- axis current feedback signal, a d- axis current feedback signal, a motor angular velocity, and a motor temperature. A torque instruction generator(200) comprises a current map(210), a torque controller(220), a commutation angle calculator(230), and a polar cartesian coordinate converter(240). A current angle calculator calculates an angle command based on the sum total of the torque control value and a phase current command. |
