A coffee roaster is provided to adjust roasting calories and exhaust airflow amount easily and conveniently, thereby improving the taste and flavor of coffee. A coffee roaster(10) comprises a cylindrical combustion chamber(144), a supporting frame(142), a roasting chamber(148), a cover plate(110), an input/output tube(122), a hopper(300), a roasting motor(226) and a roasting chamber air-gap controller. The supporting frame supports the combustion chamber. The roasting chamber is inserted inside the combustion chamber and rotated by the rotation of a rotary axis(152) in order to heat coffee beans adopted. The cover plate is fixed to an opening of the combustion chamber and the supporting frame. The input/output tube inputs dropping coffee beans into the roasting chamber and outputs combustion gas discharged from the roasting chamber. The hopper supplies coffee beans to the input/output tube and adjusts the opening degree of a smoke exhaust passage of the input/output tube. The roasting motor delivers the power to the rotary axis of the roasting chamber. The roasting chamber air-gap controller is equipped with a bearing and screw-combined with a flange. |
