An optical suction catheter is provided, which secures the enough illuminance needed for the surgical operation and enough range of vision in operation. A manufacturing method of the optical suction catheter comprises: a step(S10) for manufacturing a suction pipe of the hollow pipe barrel and an optical irradiation pipe of the hollow; a step(S20) for setting up the optical transmission line inside the optical irradiation pipe in the longitudinal direction; a step(S30) for facing the optical irradiation pipe and the suction pipe in the longitudinal direction; a step(S40) for pressurizing the suction pipe and the optical irradiation pipe in the direction which mutually faces each other to make the suction pipe settled in the optical irradiation pipe; and a step(S50) for connecting the suction pipe and the optical irradiation pipe.
