An improved navigation device is provided to cut down on manufacturing cost because a RDS application operating driver can be used without replacement. An improved navigation device comprises an input unit(32) receiving an input of user, a GPS signal receiver(33) receiving a GPS signal from a satellite, a storage unit(35) storing the map information, a RDS receiver(36) receiving a FM signal and storing a RDS data, a controller determining the current position based on the GPS signal and map information, and an output unit(34) outputting traffic information data transformed by the controller according to the user input inputted from the input unit.
