<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, an image forming system, an information processing method, and a computer program, which analyze and suitably process the contents of a request, in an image forming device to which a new function is added. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes a list management means for managing a list of a function realizing means connected to the image forming device, a communication means for receiving a request from a client device in a first descriptive form, a request analysis means for analyzing the request to acquire and output identification information and a request item of the function realizing means included in the request, a data format holding means for holding a data format of the contents of processing corresponding to the request item for every function realizing means, and a means for acquiring the contents of processing which outputs the request item to the function realizing means in a data format of the contents of processing based on the output from the request analysis means and, in the absence of the contents of processing corresponding to the function realizing means, outputs the request item in a second descriptive form to the function realizing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
