LINK DUPLEXING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for enabling duplexing between line cards and duplexing between physical links when transmitting IP packets data for a backbone network via a physical link (T1/E1/J1) in a mobile communication system with the internet protocol foundation.

SOLUTION: The link duplexing apparatus includes a scheduler for checking length of a queue stored in a queue buffer in a line card to provide to a virtual queue management part, and a virtual queue management part for dividing an internet protocol packet incoming through a backbone network, prioritizing the line cards according to lengths of the queue stored in the queue buffer in each line card, and manipulating the divided packets for transmitting according to the priority.
