PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding belt-like members where a plurality of belt-like members close to each other or brought into contact with each other in a width direction can be separated in the width direction without unnecessarily deforming them, and further, set-up work when the width dimensions of the respective belt-like members are changed can be easily performed, and to provide a device therefor. SOLUTION: Using an extension roller 40 in which the outer circumferential face is composed by a plurality of stretching/contracting members 44 arranged so as to be lined up in the circumferential direction each other and further capable of stretching/contracting in the axial direction of the extension roller 40, and also composed in such a manner that the respective stretching/contracting member 44 are gradually stretched from a prescribed position in the circumferential direction to the other prescribed position in the circumferential direction, respective belt-like members BM continuously formed by a cutting apparatus 30 are wound round the range where the respective stretching/contracting members 44 are gradually stretched in the outer circumferential face of the extension roller 40, thus the respective belt-like members BM are separated from each other.
