PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility of photographed information image and view also a subject image when displaying the subject image based on an image signal output from imaging element and photographed information image including photographed data etc., while superimposing them. SOLUTION: On the image display part 116, there is displayed a subject image based on an image signal output from an imaging element 104, wherein in the subject image there is displayed, superimposed a photographed information image that is an image including at least any of characters, icons, and images representing photographed information. At this time feathering processing is applied to partial image data forming an image of a portion where the photographed information image in the subject image displayed on the display part 116 is superimposed and displayed.
