During the correction of each of the reference light quantities T1, T2, the LED control circuit 4 puts each LED on individually, each LED is then modulated by correcting the present output values X1, X2 based on the modulated light image data G1, G2 generated by imaging the light modulation reference member when each of the LEDs is on and the reference light quantities T1, T2 based on target output values Xo1, Xo2 corresponding to each of the LEDs.
