PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of performing white balance correction as design by taking into consideration a difference in color temperature caused by individual differences and the aged deterioration of a light emitting diode in photographing accompanied by the lighting of the light emitting diode. SOLUTION: When correcting the white balance of image data for recording obtained by photographing with a LED lighted, image data with a LED lighted for LED color estimation and image data with the LED put out for LED color estimation are obtained. A WB correction coefficient calculating part calculates a color change amount of a subject caused by the lighting of the LED from the image data with LED lighted for LED color estimation and the image data with the LED put out for LED color estimation (step S303), and modifies a WB correction coefficient corresponding to a specific light source stored in a flash memory according to the calculated color change amount (step S305).
