摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gap adjusting method for a seismic strengthening steel plate, which is used for accurately, easily and finely adjusting a gap 6 between the front side of a concrete structure 1 and the backside of the seismic strengthening steel plate 2 when the seismic strengthening steel plate 2 is mounted on the concrete structure 1 such as a bridge pier and a beam/girder, in steel plate-lining earthquake strengthening work. SOLUTION: Two or three screw holes both for use in a bolt 4 for finely adjusting the gap 6 between a surface of the concrete structure 1 such as the bridge pier and the beam/girder and an inner surface of the seismic strengthening steel plate 2, and for use in a bolt 10 for fixing the gap beforehand undergo threaded hole working near the periphery of a countersunk bolt hole 8 for a bolt 3 for mounting the strengthening steel plate 2. The gap adjusting bolt 4 is mounted in one of the screw holes, so that the gap 6 can be easily and finely adjusted to arbitrary dimensions; and the gap is accurately fixed by means of the countersunk bolt 3 for mounting the steel plate, and the hollow set bolt 10 for fixing the gap, so that the steel plate-lining earthquake strengthening work can be inexpensively performed in a short construction period.
