PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the entry and exit of a motor vehicle by incorporating lift equipment into a multi-story parking facility where a number of carriages mounting a motor vehicle and the like are loaded one after another to be moved up and down and the motor vehicles and the like can be taken out sequentially at a target floor or shelf. SOLUTION: Long left circulating chains 14 circulating by engaging upper and lower chain wheels 12, 13 are disposed at two points, front and back parts, of a left side wall 2 of a frame. Rails 16 or roller conveyor bars are attached to the adaptors of the two left circulating chains 14 at regular intervals. A pair of the left side wall 2 and a right side wall 3 having a same structure as the left side wall are disposed upright so as to face each other. A carriage 20 is horizontally supported by two rails 16, 17 or roller conveyor bars attached to four circulating chains 14, 15 of both walls so as to put the carriage between them. The carriage 20 is moved up and down by moving the circulating chains 14, 15 of both walls simultaneously in the vertical direction at the same speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
