PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to the prevention of a disaster on the coast or in the water area by exerting a great wave dissipating force against an incoming wave caused by a tsunami, a typhoon, etc. SOLUTION: A pile is driven into the front of a coastal revetment structure; wire nets and cages are stacked in layers in a gap between the piles and on the front, rear, right and left sides of the pile, connected together by means of a connecting fitting, and fixed to the pile by means of a mounting bracket; and a turbulent flow is generated inside the structure so as to reduce wave dissipation and reflection. The pile, the wire net and the cage can also be made of a synthetic material or wood, while a metal is suitable for a material for the pile, the wire net and the cage.
