PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container holding device for an automobile which prevents a tray from being deformed and dropping by an external force without increasing costs. SOLUTION: A lid member 7 has an arm part 7f inserting into an insertion hole 6h formed in the tray 6 and extending into an opening 1d of an interior constructing member (an instrument panel) 1.
