<p>In a mass spectrometer where ions in an ionization chamber are introduced into an analysis chamber through a pipe heated by electroheating system for the partitions sectioning the ionization chamber and the analysis chamber of a sample, attachment/detachment of the pipe has been conventionally performed by screwing the connecting portion of an electrode connected to the pipe and the connecting portion of a column arranged on the partition. In such conventional cases, workability has been poor because the screw must be loosened until it is removed completely every time when the pipe is cleaned or replaced. In this invention, a notch around the axis of the pipe directing the rotational direction is employed as a screw hole at the connecting portion of the electrode. Consequently, the pipe can be attached/detached under a state where the screw is not removed completely but loosened.</p> |
