METHOD AND MULTI-CORE PROCESSOR EQUIPMENT FOR REALIZING MULTIPLE SERVICE PROCESS FUNCTIONS

A method for realizing multiple service process functions is provided. The method involves: configuring each core of the multi-core processor to perform different service function; according to the pre-determined executing order of the service process functions, orderly transmitting the packets to the core which is executing the service process function in the multi-core processor for processing after receiving the packets. A multi-core processor equipment is also provided. The equipment involves a configuration managing unit, a packet distribution unit and a multi-core processor. The investment cost of the equipment is saved when multiple service process functions are realized in the network.
