<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, in which personal authentification is executed at an authentification controlling part not by means of an operating panel means but by means of an authentification signal sent from an authentifying device mounted outside. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system equipped with an image forming device 10 and the authentifying device 20, which sends the authentification signal for personal authentification, is employed. The image forming device 10 is equipped with an operating panel part 140 for controlling the respective parts of the image forming device, an authentifying device controlling means 110 and the authentification controlling part 150. Here, in the image forming device 10, the authentification controlling part 150 executes personal authentification from the authentification signal, when the authentifying device controlling means 110 receives the authentification signal sent from the authentifying device 20. The authentification controlling part 150 only communicates an authentified result to the operating panel part 140. Or, in the image forming device 10, the operating panel part 14 does not directly receive the authentification signal, resulting in enabling the employment of various authentifying devices without changing the firm ware of the operating panel part 140. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
