PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance demonstration facility suitable for showing action effects of a vibration control frame utilizing a viscoelastic damper to general prospective customers and the like in a comprehensible manner to strongly impress its performance. SOLUTION: A performance demonstration facility 20 of a vibration control frame 1 is constituted by installing, in an independent exhibition room 21 having an approximate dome shaped entrance 22, an explanation panel 30 explaining the structure and performance of the vibration control frame 1, a horizontal vibration demonstration apparatus 40 demonstrating the behaviors of the vibration control frame 1 to a repetitive horizontal load, a damping effect demonstration apparatus 50 of a viscoelastic body demonstrating the way of bouncing when a spherical test specimen 51 made of a viscoelastic body is dropped, and a tension demonstration apparatus 70 demonstrating the behaviors of the viscoelastic damper 5 to a repetitive tension load in the axial direction by comparing with a diagonal bracing 71 made of steel rod and other frame members.
